When you submit the research form on our website, we collect:

- Your role or job title
- Your work email address
- Your trade specialty (e.g. electrical, plumbing)
- Your LinkedIn profile or company website URL (optional)
- Your free-text response about payment challenges (optional)
We do not collect sensitive personal data, financial information, or any data beyond what you voluntarily provide through the form.
Why we collect it
We use your information solely to:
- Contact you to arrange a short research conversation about your payment workflow
- Understand common payment challenges in UK construction
- Inform the design of a potential product to help subcontractors manage payment delays
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, automated decision-making, or any purpose other than those listed above.
Legal basis
We process your personal data based on your consent, which you give by voluntarily submitting the research form. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing .
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with any third parties for their own purposes.
Your form submissions are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), operated by Google LLC, and email notifications are sent via Web3Forms. Both services process data on our behalf. How long we keep it
We retain your data for as long as it is needed for the research purpose described above, and no longer than 12 months after your last interaction with us. After that period, we delete your personal data unless you have an ongoing relationship with us.
Where we store it
Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers within the United States and may be processed in the United Kingdom and Argentina. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw your consent at any time

Analytics
This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This service does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across websites. We collect aggregated, anonymous data including: number of visitors, pages viewed, referral source, country, and device type. This data cannot be used to identify any individual visitor. No personal data from analytics is combined with data you provide through our research form.
